COURSE PROVISION

The format of each lesson will be:

  • For KS3 and KS4 Pupils to work at the core curriculum for GCSE

  • National Curriculum covered with an exam question bias

  • Engaging interactive lessons involving verbal and/or text questions and answers available

  • Work-life balance of pupil central to any additional work provided

  • Highly qualified and experienced tutor

  • Lesson schedule will be Monday (BIO), Tuesday (Chem), Thurs (physics) 6:30-7:30pm

  • Live 1 hour lessons using the zoom platform

  • All lessons will be recorded, uploaded and available to re-view

  • Tutor and pupil images will be blocked from recordings (safeguarding)

  • Pupils will be provided with their own personalised portal to take encourage independent learning

Foundation Science - Course curriculum

This course is a rolling programme of study based on the National Curriculum. Adjustments will be made to adapt to the slight changes between examination boards. We will cover 3 one hour lessons a week; one each of Biology, Chemistry and Physics. The lessons will be live audio-visual lessons without images of participants to create a Safe Online Learning Environment. each lesson will incorporate a motivation theme via a proverb or anecdote to help pupils develop a positive attitude to learning.
